Mark Thompson was born right here in Olean, New York a long, long time ago at St. Francis hospital. The hospital's gone and all his records went up in smoke! Mark graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Broadcasting and Mass Communication. He has worked in radio stations in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa., Springfield, Missouri, Columbia, Missouri and Jamestown, N.Y. He's been in the country music business since 1978. Mark's son is fighting for our country in Afghanistan as a U.S. Army Sargeant First Class. His oldest daughter is managing several cellular phone stores in North Carolina. His youngest daughter lives with Mark and his wife Cindy in Kennedy, N.Y. Valerie's a middle school honor role student. Mark's on his third marriage and, so far so good!!! Poor Mark, he's tired of living the life of the music he plays on the radio!
Mark's favorite breakfast cereal is... Cereal! He hasn't eaten breakfast cereal since High School.
Mark's top five songs of all time... "King Of The Road", "Ring Of Fire", "Brokenheartsville", "Sweet Escape" and "Boom Boom Pow".
If Mark wasn't on the radio, he'd be delivering for Schwann's Frozen Foods.
One job that Mark would never want to do is... anything involving manual labor.
Mark's greatest accomplishment so far in life... is not getting fired from his radio jobs...yet.
In Mark's opinion, the best movie made was... "The Wizard of Oz".
The one food Mark could eat for the rest of his life would be... Lobster Tail with real drawn butter.
Roller Coasters are... great when you are watching from the ground.
Fanny Packs... should be replaced with Man Purses.
Mark's favorite letter is "G" for green, because green is his favorite color and he doesn't have a favorite letter.
Mark's fridge is always stocked with... a big box of Rhine Wine.
